The Bishop LeBlond Eagles will be home for the holidays to greet the North Andrew Cardinals at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. North Andrew took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Bishop LeBlond, who comes in off a win.
Last Monday, it was close, but Bishop LeBlond sidestepped West Platte for a 45-42 victory. The win was just what Bishop LeBlond needed coming off of a 71-48 defeat in their prior game.
Meanwhile, North Andrew's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They fell just short of Worth County by a score of 60-58. While losing is never fun, North Andrew can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 400th, while Worth County is ranked 122nd).
Bishop LeBlond's victory bumped their record up to 9-2. As for North Andrew, they bumped their record down to 2-6 with that loss, which was their fifth straight at home.
Bishop LeBlond strolled past North Andrew in their previous matchup back in February by a score of 51-37. Will Bishop LeBlond repeat their success, or does North Andrew have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
