Point Pleasant Beach had to hit the road for their first game, and unfortunately the road hit them back. On Saturday, they came up short against Keyport/Hudson Regional, falling 0-14. Point Pleasant Beach were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Keyport/Hudson Regional apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat from the last time the teams met up. This was the first contest for both squads, starting Point Pleasant Beach off on the wrong foot at 0-1, while giving Keyport/Hudson Regional a 1-0 record.
Point Pleasant Beach will look to defend their home turf next week against Manchester Township at 7:00 PM. As for Keyport/Hudson Regional, they will face off against Donovan Catholic.
