Georgia's eighth-ranked Grayson Rams scored 31 points in the second quarter to help cruise to a 45-7 win over previously unbeaten Shiloh Friday night in Georgia Top 25 high school football action.
After Shiloh (6-1) cut the deficit to 14-7 on a touchdown reception by Darrell McDowell, Grayson rattled off 30 straight points to improve to 5-1. A 35-yard touchdown pass from
CJ Dixon to
Jaden Smith made it 21-7 early in the second quarter.
Following a safety, Dixon fired another TD pass to Smith, before Grayson recorded a pic six, making it 37-7. An 11-yard touchdown run by
Jonahan Maisonave closed out the scoring for the Rams, making it 45-7. Shiloh managed just 184 yards off offense.
In other Georgia Top 25 action, fifth-ranked Buford raced to a 24-0 lead before beating Cedar Shoals 31-13. Quarterback
Jarvis Evans completed a 77-yard scoring pass to
Jake Pope to start the scoring for the Wolves, before
Elijah Turner and
Ashton Daniels rushed for touchdowns and
Hayden Olsen kicked a 44-yard field goal.
Seventh-ranked Valdosta got four touchdown passes from
Tate Rodemaker and two rushing scores by
TJ Dailey in a 52-20 win over Houston County.
