Domanik La Corti Turns in Season-Best Effort
Domanik La Corti produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Water Canyon to the win on Friday. La Corti picked up five sacks, forced a fumble, and made 11 total tackles (8.0 for loss).
The win snapped Water Canyon's winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 3-5 record. La Corti and Water Canyon will head out on the road to challenge St. Joseph at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.

On Friday, Altamont got the W thanks in part to Dillon Ivie playing the best football he has all season. Ivie rushed for 103 yards and three touchdowns on only five carries. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, forcing a fumble and making two total tackles in addition to snagging an interception.
Monument Valley had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Ivie it was a similar story. Back in August of 2023 (the last time Ivie saw the Cougars), he rushed for 104 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries.
