Domanik La Corti Turns in Season-Best Effort
Domanik La Corti produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Water Canyon to the win on Friday. La Corti picked up five sacks, forced a fumble, and made 11 total tackles (8.0 for loss).
The win snapped Water Canyon's winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 3-5 record. La Corti and Water Canyon will head out on the road to challenge St. Joseph at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.

A Season-Best Effort from Dillon Ivie Leads Altamont over Monument Valley
On Friday, Altamont got the W thanks in part to Dillon Ivie playing the best football he has all season. Ivie rushed for 103 yards and three touchdowns on only five carries. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, forcing a fumble and making two total tackles in addition to snagging an interception.
Monument Valley had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Ivie it was a similar story. Back in August of 2023 (the last time Ivie saw the Cougars), he rushed for 104 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries.

The second Water Canyon player making an appearance here is Riley Jones, and for good reason. He picked up 170 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.
