Sale Creek came out on top against Rockwood on Wednesday thanks in part to Josie Payne's efforts. Payne scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in both of her plate appearances, which was good enough to set a new career-high in runs.

Coming up, Payne and Sale Creek will challenge Signal Mountain at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers are 8-2 against the Eagles going back to March of 2015, a lead they'll look to extend.
