Springwood was led to victory by Micah Thomas and Daniel Westbrook. Thomas scored 18 points along with five rebounds and five steals, while Westbrook scored 25 points along with five assists and five rebounds. Thomas hasn't dropped below two steals for 11 straight games. Panos Pananis was another key contributor, scoring six points along with five assists and four steals.
Southern Prep Academy bumped their record down to 1-9 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 26.0 points per game. As for Springwood, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-5.
