The Sanderson Spartans won the last time they faced the Enloe Eagles, and things went their way on Friday too. Sanderson was the clear victor by a 48-24 margin over Enloe.
Sanderson found their leader in underclassman Brilison McCullers, who rushed for 186 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 7.8 yards per carry. Sanderson also got a significant boost from Busbee Phillips, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 153 yards.
Enloe's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Chase White, who rushed for 82 yards and a touchdown. Jalen Moore was another key contributor, picking up 91 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Sanderson is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 4-5 record this season. As for Enloe, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 4-5.
Sanderson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Enloe is also done with their season.
