Lincoln County's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kara Stanger, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Dylan Sharp, who scored six points along with nine rebounds and six assists.
Lincoln County now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Thompson Falls, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lincoln County will challenge the Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Ignatius knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past nine matchups -- so hopefully the Lions like a good challenge. As for Thompson Falls, they will head out on the road to square off against the Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Troy has struggled recently with nine losses in a row, while the Blue Hawks will arrive with three straight wins.
