Gavin Houston Dazzles in Antelope Valley Loss
Gavin Houston posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 221 yards while picking up 9.2 yards per carry. That high mark didn't come from nowhere: he posted at least 107 rushing yards in the fifth games prior.
With the defeat, Antelope Valley broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-4. Houston and Antelope Valley will stay at home for another week and welcome Highland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Jayson Wilson Delivers Best Performance of Season
Lancaster was led to victory by Jayson Wilson, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Thursday. Wilson rushed for 77 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 108 yards and a touchdown. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 75-yard run.
The victory was the fourth in a row for Lancaster, bringing their record for this year to 5-2. It'll be Battle of the Birds when Eagles challenges Knight at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Carrillo Came Up Big in Highland's 84-0 Win
Jayden Carrillo was instrumental in extending Highland's winning streak to four on Friday. Nobody could stop Carrillo as he picked up a sack, forced a fumble, and made 13 total tackles (3.0 for loss). He is on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made six or more in the last four games he's played dating back to last season.
This year, Carrillo has averaged 9.4 total tackles per game and for the season has 7 sacks. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 6.14 total tackles per game.
