After a string of five wins, Madison's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 9-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pocatello Thunder. The Bobcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Thunder apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Madison's defeat dropped their record down to 14-7. As for Pocatello, their win bumped their record up to 7-13.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Madison will host Canyon Ridge at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bobcats are facing the Riverhawks at the right time seeing as the Riverhawks are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Pocatello, they will take on Bear River at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
