Canon City kept a clean sheet against Mitchell on Friday. Canon City put a hurting on Mitchell to the tune of 50-0. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 30 to nothing.
The Tigers can attribute much of their success to Raymond Cammel, who rushed for 111 yards and three TDs on 18 carries. Harrison Pilafas was in the mix, too, providing Canon City with two touchdowns.
Canon City will square off against Sierra at 7 p.m. ET next week. Unlike Canon City, Sierra will be stumbling in off of a loss. Mitchell will be playing in front of their home fans against Harrison at 7 p.m. ET. Mitchell has the odds in their favor, so they'll need to guard against complacency.
