The Ukiah Wildcats will challenge the St. Vincent de Paul Mustangs at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Ukiah is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last six games.
It was a proper cat-fight when Ukiah faced off against Santa Rosa on Tuesday. The Wildcats blew past the Panthers 17-3. Considering the Wildcats have won eight games by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Karis Jacobsen made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single hit and allowed only one earned run while striking out seven over five innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in April of 2024. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one double.
In other batting news, Kaloni Brown was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Aliyah Rosario was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and two doubles.
Meanwhile, St. Vincent de Paul came up short against Piner on Friday and fell 9-4. The Mustangs haven't had much luck with the Prospectors recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.
St. Vincent de Paul saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Makayla Bignardi, who went 3-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Another was Maddy Rynning, who went 1-for-3 with two runs.
Ukiah pushed their record up to 11-7-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for St. Vincent de Paul, they now have a losing record of 6-7.
Ukiah was able to grind out a solid win over St. Vincent de Paul in their previous meeting on Wednesday, winning 8-5. Do the Wildcats have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Mustangs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
