Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Culver Academies). They claimed a resounding 69-36 victory over the Mishawaka Marian Knights. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 28 points or more this season.

Culver Academies' win on Tuesday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Piper Brumm, who went 5 for 10 on her way to 18 points. Those 18 points gave Brumm a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kayla Herron, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 assists.

Mishawaka Marian's loss came despite strong showings from Kariya Byer and Sydney Mcintee. Byer dropped a double-double on 15 points and 14 rebounds, while Mcintee posted nine points. Byer is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down nine or more in the last six games she's played.

Culver Academies' win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Mishawaka Marian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.

Culver Academies will head out to face off against Culver Community at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Culver Community will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Culver Academies surely won't give up without a fight. As for Mishawaka Marian, they will welcome South Bend Washington at 6:30 p.m. on December 20th.
