The South Point Red Raiders scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They breezed by Forestview at home to the tune of 92-59. Perhaps unsurprisinly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.
South Point found their leader in underclassman Dylan Bradley, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Greyson Kines, who scored 12 points along with five assists and three steals.
Forestview's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Nico Aguliar, who scored 19 points, and Daijhon Young who scored ten points along with six rebounds and two steals. Aguliar continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Alex Helton, who scored nine points.
South Point has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season. As for Forestview, they dropped their record down to 7-12 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Point will take on Stuart W. Cramer at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in South Point's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last nine games. As for Forestview, they will be playing in front of their home fans against North Gaston at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Forestview is facing North Gaston at the right time seeing as North Gaston is stuck on a eight-game losing streak.
