Northwestern suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Thursday. They were dealt a 56-17 loss at the hands of Wise. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Northwestern has suffered against Wise since January 17, 2020.
Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Suitland's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They took a 40-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of Parkdale. Suitland has struggled against Parkdale recently, as their contest on Thursday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Northwestern has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season. As for Suitland, their loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 4-3.
