New Bloomfield is 9-1 against Belle since January of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The New Bloomfield Wildcats' road trip will continue as they head out to face the Belle Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on December 4th. Hopefully New Bloomfield focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Friday.
Last Friday, New Bloomfield was able to grind out a solid victory over Otterville, taking the game 53-46. The victory was just what New Bloomfield needed coming off of a 74-50 loss in their prior contest.
New Bloomfield got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jacob Fuhriman out in front who scored 14 points along with 6 assists and 4 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Nathan Fuhriman, who scored 14 points.
Even though Belle has not done well against Linn recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way back in November. Belle walked away with a 52-43 victory over Linn.
The losses dropped New Bloomfield to 1-4 and Otterville to 1-3.
New Bloomfield ended up a good deal behind Belle in their previous meeting back in December of 2022, losing 69-55. Can New Bloomfield avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
