The Enumclaw Hornets will take on the Beamer Titans at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Enumclaw is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last 13 games.
On Wednesday, Enumclaw made easy work of Kent-Meridian and carried off a 19-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Hornets, who have now won 12 contests by six runs or more so far this season.
Nadia Flaherty was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She struck out seven batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and only one walk). Flaherty was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with two RBI and one run.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Alyssa Harris, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, six RBI, and two runs. Those six RBI gave her a new career-high. Ashlyn Elder was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.
Enumclaw kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 24 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in 15 consecutive games.
Beamer couldn't beat Kentlake on Wednesday even though they stacked seven runs on them in the second inning. The Titans lost 28-12 to the Falcons. The defeat continues a trend for the Titans in their meetings with the Falcons: they've now lost four in a row.
Asialynn Solia was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Ayris Thurman, who went 1-for-3 with three runs.
Enumclaw pushed their record up to 15-2 with the victory, which was their ninth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Beamer, their loss dropped their record down to 4-11.
Beamer's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Enumclaw has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 15.3 hits per game. It's a different story for Beamer, though, as they've been averaging 11.2 hits. Given Enumclaw's sizable advantage in that area, the Titans will need to find a way to close that gap.
Enumclaw took their victory against Beamer in their previous matchup back in April by a conclusive 21-1 score. Do the Hornets have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Titans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
