 Caden Marcil made a big impact no matter where he played. He  struck out eight batters over  six innings while giving up just two earned  (and one unearned) runs off   five  hits. That's the most  strikeouts  he has posted since back in May of 2024. He was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-4 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and two  doubles. He also  snagged a  stolen base, marking his first of the season.
 In other batting news,  Josh Wagner was  incredible,  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances with one  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs. That  home run marked the first that  he has  launched this season. Another player making a difference was  Jackson AmEnde, who  went 3-for-4 with three  stolen bases, three  runs,  and one  RBI.
 Bolton  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .550. They are 2-1 when  they post an OBP of .513 or better.
The  victory was their first  at home , bumping their record up to 4-12. As for East Windsor,  they are  on  an  eight-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 2-11.
 Looking ahead, Bolton will take on Suffield at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. As for East Windsor, they will face off against Cheney Tech at 3:45  p.m.  on Monday.
