Baseball Recap: Howell Wins Going Away Against St. John-Vianney

Howell won the last time they faced St. John-Vianney and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Rebels blew past the Lancers 14-4. The Rebels might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matches by seven runs or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for Howell and bumps their season record up to 4-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for St. John-Vianney, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.

Howell wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, an 11-10 win against Rumson-Fair Haven on the 16th. As for St. John-Vianney, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Red Bank Regional on the 16th.
