Softball Recap: Lakeside Has No Trouble Against Riverside

Lakeside lost to Riverside back in March, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 16-5 margin over the Rams. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matches by six runs or more this season.

The win got Lakeside back to even at 7-7. As for Riverside, their loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lakeside will challenge Colville at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will need to watch out since the Crimson Hawks have now posted at least ten runs in their last three contests. As for Riverside, they will square off against Medical Lake at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Rams are facing the Cardinals at the right time seeing as the Cardinals are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
