Leading Santa Cruz to victory were Ben Dotten and Kirby Seals. Dotten dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds, while Seals scored ten points along with seven rebounds and five assists. Another player making a difference was Demeke Smith, who scored ten points along with six rebounds.
Santa Cruz is on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 17 games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season. As for San Lorenzo Valley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-13 record this season.
