Aucilla Christian hasn't had much luck against North Florida Christian recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Aucilla Christian Warriors will head out on the road to face off against the North Florida Christian Eagles at 4:00 p.m. Aucilla Christian knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully North Florida Christian likes a good challenge.
Aucilla Christian gave up the first runs last Tuesday, but they didn't let that get them down. They were the clear victor by a 15-2 margin over Hamilton County. The win continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now won three in a row.

Shaw Lundy was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched two innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. What's more, he also racked up four strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March of 2024. He was also big at the plate, scoring three runs while going 1-for-4.
In other pitching news, Gavin Thompson looked comfortable as he tossed 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.
Back at the plate, Cooper Wiles was a standout: he went 2-for-5 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. That's the most doubles he has posted since back in February of 2024. Trey Roberts was another key player, scoring two runs while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.
Meanwhile, North Florida Christian had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 6-1 victory over Wakulla Christian School.
North Florida Christian's win was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Caden Cooper, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base.
Aucilla Christian pushed their record up to 3-0 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 10.3 runs. As for North Florida Christian, their record is now 1-0.
Aucilla Christian might still be hurting after the 14-0 defeat they got from North Florida Christian in their previous matchup back in May of 2022. Can Aucilla Christian avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
