String Theory will head out on the road to square off against the Imhotep Charter Panthers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the pair will really light up the scoreboard.
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only String Theory walked away with it. They secured a 68-63 W over the Wolves on Thursday.
Justus Robertson was his usual excellent self, scoring 37 points along with five rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Luca Varallo, who scored 17 points along with four steals.
Meanwhile, Imhotep Charter faced Executive Education Academy Charter School in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Imhotep Charter was the clear victor by a 64-39 margin over Executive Education Academy Charter School. Winning may never get old, but Imhotep Charter sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
String Theory now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Imhotep Charter, they pushed their record up to 19-3 with that win, which was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season.
String Theory was dealt a bruising 64-30 loss at the hands of Imhotep Charter in their previous matchup back in February of 2022. Can String Theory avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
