The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Mt. Pleasant Christian in their matchups with Glen Iris Baptist: they've now lost six in a row.
Joshua Everett continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Glen Iris Baptist, scoring 19 points along with six assists and three steals. Everett is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jackson Dickey, who scored 12 points along with nine rebounds.
Mt. Pleasant Christian's loss dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Glen Iris Baptist, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-2.
Mt. Pleasant Christian will be playing at home against Marshall Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Glen Iris Baptist won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Providence Classical at 6:00 p.m. on January 13th. Providence Classical is on a three-game streak of home wins, Glen Iris Baptist a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
