Despite the loss, New Bloomfield still got an impressive performance from Jacob Fuhriman, who almost dropped a double-double on 21 points and nine rebounds. It was the first time this season that Fuhriman pulled down eight or more rebounds. Another player making a difference was Andrew Fouch, who scored six points along with seven rebounds.
New Bloomfield dropped their record down to 7-13 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Russellville, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-14.
