The Fox Chapel Foxes scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 70-55 win over Plum. The victory was some much needed relief for Fox Chapel as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Fox Chapel to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jefferson Moorefield-Brown, who scored 15 points along with five assists and two steals. Thomas Patterson was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Fox Chapel now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Plum, they dropped their record down to 5-12 with that defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fox Chapel will take on the River Hawks at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Plum, they will head out on the road to challenge the Wolverines at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Woodland Hills knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past three matchups -- so hopefully the Mustangs likes a good challenge.
