Texico  took care of business in their home opener  (and then some) on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Cloudcroft Bears as they made off with  a  3-0 win. The  victory was familiar territory for the Wolverines, who have now won 13  games in a row  dating back to last season.
 The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-10,  25-19.
 Kinzee Crow paced Texico's offense, picking up 11 kills. Crow got some help from  Kailie Wieland and her 18 assists.  Kirra Fontanilla controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.
 Texico will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Logan at 6:30  p.m.  on  the 11th. As for Cloudcroft, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next  contest,  a  3-1  win against Estancia on the 26th.
