Hillcrest's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Zach Tanner, who scored 20 points along with 7 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Tanner has scored at least 25% of Hillcrest's points. Another player making a difference was Rhett Robinson, who scored 14 points along with 4 steals.
The victory makes it two in a row for Hillcrest and bumps their season record up to 3-1. As for Summit Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.
Hillcrest will be playing at home against Kearns at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Kearns focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Wednesday. Summit Academy won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Viewmont at 7:00 p.m. on December 1st.
