Berks Inter-County 1 recap November 19, 2013
Muhlenberg lost to Bishop McDevitt 55-21 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Conrad Weiser made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 1,482 from 1,787. The improvement was largely due to a 23-0 victory over Dover last week.
The Scouts' dynamic duo of Aidan Brosious and Josh Joseph proved to be unstoppable against the Eagles, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Brosious threw for 88 yards and 1 touchdown and Joseph had 37 yards receiving. Dexter Jordan helped Conrad Weiser's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 23 yards.
Pottsville's Tyler Moser and Travis Blankenhorn have formed a dream team this season, leading Berks Inter-County 1 in both passing and receiving yards. 6-0 quarterback Moser has thrown for 1,445 yards this season, while Blankenhorn has 37 catches for 800 yards. Daniel Boone's Kyle Myers leads the league in rushing yards with 1,146.
Manny Soto has rushed for 978 yards on 131 carries so far this year.
The Muhls fell from second to fourth in the league, the largest drop in the standings this week. A 55-21 loss to the Crusaders last week preceded the drop.
