Bauxite got themselves on the board against Rose Bud on Monday, but Rose Bud never followed suit. They blew past the Ramblers 8-0. The Miners might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by six runs or more this season.

Avery Heidelberg was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out seven over four innings pitched. Those seven strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kade Deno, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three doubles, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March.

Bauxite is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Rose Bud, their loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-8.

Looking ahead, Bauxite will be playing at home against Fountain Lake at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Rose Bud has already played their next game (against Augusta), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
