Jill Huffaker had an outrageously good game as she scored 14 points along with six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Akeema Rivera was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with six rebounds.
Central's win bumped their record up to 9-13. As for Brooks, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-19.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central will take on Hatton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Alabama (Hatton is ranked 201st, while Central is ranked 197th). As for Brooks, they will play host again and welcome Deshler, where tip off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Deshler is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
