Wallace lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Colt Franklin, who scored 11 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Franklin has scored all season. Matt Lungrin was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Maxwell's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jesse Reyes, who scored eight points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Levi Huffman, who scored ten points along with five rebounds.
Wallace has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season. As for Maxwell, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-12.
Wallace will head out on the road to take on the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Brady is out to stop a five-game streak of losses at home. Maxwell will take on the Plainsmen at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Perkins County presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Wildcats in Nebraska (the Plainsmen are ranked 75th, while the Wildcats are ranked 236th).
