Vail Christian is 3-0 against South Park since February of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Vail Christian Saints will be playing at home against the South Park Burros at 4:00 p.m. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Vail Christian has struggled recently with five losses in a row, while South Park will arrive with three straight wins.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 53-13, which was the final score in Vail Christian's tilt against Caprock Academy on Friday. Vail Christian was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 29-8.
Meanwhile, South Park can now show off three landslide victories after their most recent match on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 48-16 victory over Colorado Springs School on the road.
Vail Christian bumped their record down to 1-5 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight at home. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 13.8 points per game. As for South Park, their victory ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-2.
