Michigan Lutheran Seminary suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Friday. They took a serious blow against Nouvel Catholic Central, falling 79-39. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Michigan Lutheran Seminary has scored all season.
Despite the loss, Michigan Lutheran Seminary had strong showings from Noah Reif, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds, and William Salgat, who scored 15 points. That was a full 38.5% of Michigan Lutheran Seminary's points, marking the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Hemlock's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Michigan Lutheran Seminary, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 6-5.
Hemlock took their win against Michigan Lutheran Seminary in their previous matchup back in January of 2023 by a conclusive 62-37. With Hemlock ahead 33-13 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
