Spring Valley's found some homefield redemption this week after a overtime loss to Blazer on Friday. The Timberwolves were the clear victors by a 14-4 margin over the Fairland Dragons. Considering the Timberwolves have won ten games by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Garrett Wagoner, who fired off three triples, six RBI, and three runs while going 4-for-5. Those three triples gave him a new career-high. Tristan Romans also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Spring Valley always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .538. They are a perfect 12-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Spring Valley moved to 20-11 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Fairland, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-15.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Spring Valley will welcome Capital at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Fairland, they will be playing at home against Portsmouth at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Dragons' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Trojans have averaged an impressive 7.8 runs per game this season.
