The biggest upset of the week belonged to Texas Leadership Charter Academy, who defeated 665th ranked Christoval, 61-25. Brandon Garcia ran for 184 yards and caught 2 passes for 18 yards during the win.
Jakob Whitworth and Tanner Wells provided fans with a highlight when they connected against the Eagles. The longest such play in 1A-2 Region II District 6 this season, the connection resulted in 55 yards.
Hays Wood was a key player and the best on defense this week as Texas Leadership Charter Academy topped the Cougars. The 5-foot-7 senior nabbed 2 interceptions.
