After a string of four wins, Valor Academy's's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They were outmatched by Alemany on the road and fell 88-22. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Valor Academy has scored all season.
Jared Mims continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Alemany, scoring 12 points. Mims is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Andrew Ibanez, who scored 11 points.
Valor Academy's loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Alemany, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-4.
Valor Academy will head out on the road to face off against Wilson at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Alemany will take on Lakeside in a holiday battle at 6:00 p.m. on Monday at. That game will pit two of the most dominant players against one another: Maurice Turner and Mims.
