North Muskegon had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against the Montague Wildcats on Saturday as they made off with an 11-2 win. The Norsemen might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 matchups by seven runs or more this season.
Bronson Hurst was excellent, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with one triple, one run, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Charlie Meyers, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
North Muskegon kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in five consecutive contests.
North Muskegon is on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 17 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-4 record this season.
