The Celeste Blue Devils will head out on the road to take on the North Hopkins Panthers at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Celeste has nine straight wins, North Hopkins has six straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Celeste's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Campbell with a sharp 15-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Blue Devils, who have now won 11 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Jada Garcia was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Harper Brown, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, three doubles, and four RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to hits, as she's now got three or more in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Mya Mainord, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
Celeste always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .708. They are a perfect 14-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
North Hopkins couldn't beat Cooper on Tuesday even though they stacked four runs on them in the fifth inning. The Panthers lost 18-8 to the Bulldogs.
North Hopkins' defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Celeste, their record is now 16-4-1.
Celeste got the 'W' when the teams last played back in April of 2025 against North Hopkins by a conclusive 9-2 score. Will the Blue Devils repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
