The Griswold Wolverines will square off against the Windham Whippets at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication,  the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
 Last Friday,  everything went Griswold's way against Montville as Griswold made off with  a  42-19 win.
 Meanwhile, Windham didn't have too much trouble with New London at home   on Friday as they won  42-28. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Whippets.
 A big part of Windham's  victory came down to the chemistry between  Francisco Alvarado and his top target  Deshawn Chapman. Alvarado rushed for 59 yards and two touchdowns while  Chapman rushed for 79 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries.
 The  win  got Griswold back to even at 1-1. As for Windham, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.
 Griswold beat Windham 20-8  in their previous meeting  back in October of 2018. Will Griswold repeat their success,  or does  Windham have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
