The Stratton Eagles had to kick off their season on the road on Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. They really took it to Otis for the full four quarters, racking up a 61-24 victory on the road. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Stratton also won the last time the pair played back in February.
Sedonia Isenbart had a dynamite game for Stratton, scoring 24 points along with 7 steals and 6 assists. Clare Miltenberger was another key contributor, scoring 10 points along with 8 assists and 7 steals.
Stratton's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Otis, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Stratton will face off against Idalia at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Idalia focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Thursday.
