Pahokee and Clewiston are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2015, but not for long. The Pahokee Blue Devils' road trip will continue as they head out to face the Clewiston Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on December 7th. Pahokee will be strutting in after a win while Clewiston will be coming in after a loss.
Last Tuesday, Pahokee took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 52-25 victory over Glades Day. The victory was just what Pahokee needed coming off of a 61-22 loss in their prior match.
Pahokee found their leader in underclassman Javian Jones, who scored 23 points. Another player making a difference was Marquavis McCloud, who scored 11 points.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 55 points the game before, Clewiston were a bit more limited in their match on Friday. They took a serious blow against Royal Palm Beach, falling 78-24. Clewiston has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
The losses dropped Pahokee to 1-3 and Glades Day to 0-3.
Pahokee was able to grind out a solid victory over Clewiston in their previous meeting back in December of 2019, winning 61-48. The rematch might be a little tougher for Pahokee since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
