The biggest upset of the week belonged to Sexton, who took down 46th ranked Holt, 21-7.
Everett extended the longest winning streak in Capital Area - Blue this week by beating East Lansing, 6-0. The victory was the sixth in a row for the Vikings.
The Rams' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Eric Potter threw for 48 yards and Chris Morgan had 20 yards receiving. On the ground Ty Glover chipped in 78 yards. Austin Kent helped Holt's passing attack out by catching two balls for 12 yards.
The Trojans' JAKE PENDRED and JAVON HAINES have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. PENDRED has thrown for 767 yards this season, while HAINES, a 6-foot-2 receiver, has 26 catches for 487 yards. Glover from Holt leads the league in rushing with 718 yards.
The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between Everett and Grand Ledge. Marcelle Carruthers's team enters the contest ranked 15th in the state, while the Comets ranks 25th.
Grand Ledge took down Eastern 56-14 last week, the largest margin of any game.
