The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Silver Bluff has scored all season.
Silver Bluff lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Gerald Lark jr., who scored five points along with ten rebounds and five steals. Justin Perry was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with nine rebounds.
Silver Bluff's loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 6-10. As for Strom Thurmond, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Silver Bluff will take on Batesburg-Leesville at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in South Carolina (Batesburg-Leesville is ranked 201st, while Silver Bluff is ranked 192nd). As for Strom Thurmond, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Fox Creek at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Fox Creek sitting on seven straight victories and Strom Thurmond on five.
