The Vero Beach Indians had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They walked away with a 28-17 victory over Heritage on Friday. The win made it back-to-back wins for Vero Beach.
Octavion Osby was the offensive standout of the contest as he rushed for 123 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.2 yards per carry. Isaiah Roberts also helped out with an impressive 97 receiving yards.
Vero Beach has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season. As for Heritage, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 9-2.
Vero Beach will head out on the road to face off against Treasure Coast at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Treasure Coast will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak alive. Heritage does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
