A Season-Best Performance from Mark-Anthony Whyte Leads West Springfield over South County
On Thursday, West Springfield got the W thanks in part to Mark-Anthony Whyte playing the best football he has all season. Whyte rushed for 245 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 9.8 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. Lake Braddock picked up their eighth consecutive win on Thursday thanks in part to Tyrone Jackson. Nobody could stop Jackson as he threw for 183 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.
Lake Braddock's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-2. Jackson and Lake Braddock will face off against West Springfield at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Koroma Made His Presence Known in South County's 41-12 Defeat
While South County might've come up empty on Thursday, Seif Koroma wasn't going down without a fight. Nobody could stop Koroma as he rushed for 82 yards and two touchdowns.
Unfortunately for West Springfield, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Koroma. Koroma rushed for 112 yards and three touchdowns the last time he and the Spartans duked it out back in September.

Lake Braddock picked up their eighth consecutive win on Thursday thanks in part to Michael Suris. Suris turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 32 yards and two touchdowns, while also throwing for 37 yards and a touchdown while completing 83.3% of his passes.
This year, Suris has thrown 11 touchdowns while averaging 123 passing yards per game.

Scott Lewis Has Career-Day on Thursday
Scott Lewis posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Thursday. He rushed for 90 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries.
