Haddonfield's Mike DeFeo rumbled for the longest rushing play in Colonial - Liberty this season in his game against Gateway Regional last week. DeFeo scampered for 84 yards on the play and finished with 108 on the day as his team beat the Gators.
West Deptford extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Overbrook, 54-12. The victory was the sixth in a row for the team.
Dante Pinckney threw for 230 yards and two touchdowns. He went 14-23 with one interceptions.
Gerald Crismond was the best wideout in the league this week as Sterling fell to Woodbury. Crismond tallied four receptions for 100 yards. Marcus Taylor helped Sterling's passing attack out by catching four balls for 71 yards.
Gerald Towns-Owens was the most productive running back in Colonial - Liberty this week. In 14 carries, he ran for 181 yards as West Deptford fell to the Thundering Herd. Joe Diaco also contributed to the rushing game with 94 yards on the ground.
Haddon Heights's Pinckney and Kashif Miller have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Pinckney has thrown for 1078 yards this season, while Miller, a 5-foot-10 receiver, has 14 catches for 359 yards. Towns-Owens from Clyde Folsom's team leads the league in rushing with 901 yards.
The Eagles' Towns-Owens is a mere 99 yards away from breaking the 1,000-rushing-yards mark for the season.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when West Deptford takes on the Panthers. The Eagles are in first place, while Collingswood is in fifth place.
West Deptford took down the Rams 54-12 last week, the largest margin of any game. Towns-Owens caught two passes for 35 yards in the win.
