The Jordan Warriors will head out on the road to face off against the Seven Lakes Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Jordan has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Last Monday, Jordan earned a 67-54 victory over Cinco Ranch.
It was another big night for Jaden Holt, who scored 32 points along with five rebounds. Those 32 points set a new season-high mark for he. Another player making a difference was Jacob Oluokun, who scored six points along with six rebounds.
Meanwhile, Seven Lakes entered their tilt with Mayde Creek with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. Seven Lakes strolled past Mayde Creek with points to spare on Monday, taking the game 77-59. Given Seven Lakes' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 31st, while Mayde Creek is ranked 466th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Jordan's win bumped their record up to 14-3. As for Seven Lakes, their victory bumped their record up to 15-3.
Jordan came up short against Seven Lakes in their previous meeting back in January, falling 82-72. Can Jordan avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
