Northampton put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Parkland Trojans by a score of 8-5. Those eight runs were actually the fewest the Konkrete Kids have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Northampton pushed their record up to 5-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Parkland, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.

Northampton will challenge Stroudsburg at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Konkrete Kids' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Mountaineers have averaged an impressive 9.4 runs per game this season. As for Parkland, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Allentown Central Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Vikings have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11 runs per game on average), something the Trojans will no doubt try to take advantage of.
