The Sipsey Valley Bears's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They fell just short of Northside by a score of 41-39. Sipsey Valley was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rams apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played two weeks ago.
Northside got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Caroline Jones out in front who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine rebounds. Allee Taylor was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Sipsey Valley's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Northside, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season.
Sipsey Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Northside also has no future games currently scheduled.
